Composed using the Elemental Writing process and mixing the non-human with the bodily, these two versions of the same text simultaneously merge the toxic legacy of global nuclear weapons testing and the geological disposal of radioactive waste by nuclear states. One of these is now seen as an essential and neat and tidy fix to solve our domestic radioactive waste “problem” whilst the other has been subject to the bare minimum of remediation and recompense from the nuclear weapons states who collectively carried out over 2000, 20th century nuclear detonations with their still unfolding environmental and human cost.
